Reversing today’s record-low fertility rates starts with identifying viable embryos for IVF transfer – a procedure that begins with the development of a biomarker. But how to develop one that is reliable, noninvasive, and conducive to the patient’s monitory, physical, and emotional well-being?
This work starts here at Radiance Biosciences.

The sHLA-G Testing for Embryo Viability

Because studies show that embryos showing higher levels of soluble human leukocyte antigen G (sHLA-G) are more likely to produce successful pregnancies, we offer a Research Use Only (RUO) ELISA test to determine the level of sHLA-G in a fertilized embryo. Since the test uses samples of discarded media in which embryos were previously grown, it does not involve any physical risk to the patient or the embryo.
For embryo-viability evaluation, we test the level of soluble human leukocyte antigen G (sHLA-G) in fertilized embryos using samples of discarded media in which the embryo was grown (“test media”) – thus avoiding any risk to the patient or the embryo.

Here’s how it works: The Treatment Facility delivers the test media to Radiance’s lab where we conduct the Test outside the purview of the Facility. Upon completion of the Test, we will discard all unused test media. Within a reasonable period of time, Radiance will prepare a report on the results of the sHLA-G test, which we will deliver to the Facility only. The Facility will select the embryo based on several determinative factors, including the sHLA-G results provided by Radiance.

Custom Immunoassay Development Service

Our team is well qualified to support you with proof of concept, initial validation, reagent testing, and custom sample testing. Through our lab, you will gain particular expertise in developing ELISA, competitive, and sandwich formats of immune assays from professionals experienced in clinical testing for patient care under CLIA- and CAP-compliant labs.

We are your window to the world of custom assay development. Our global
relationships with preeminent assay developers allow us to manufacture your kit at any scale you request following the initial development and validation phase at Radiance.

Your project will begin with the signing of a non-disclosure agreement and continue with in-depth discussion and planning. With the project scope and objectives defined, we will then provide you with a best-faith estimate. If you need an assay development service beyond those described here, please contact us at (847) 578 8485 or email [email protected] to learn more about the many resources you can access through our vast professional network.

Competitive Immunoassays

Radiance specializes in working with both large and small molecules by developing chemiluminescent, fluorescent, and colorimetric detection formats of the assay. We can either conjugate the antibody or peptide for the assay or use the reagents you provide. We treat your reagents with great care and confidentiality. Should any lab work or a reagent need to be sent out, we will assign it a unique identifier and secure a signed NDA with the external provider.

ELISAs

An ELISA assay detects the presence of an antibody for a molecule or antigen either quantitatively or qualitatively. Based on your specifications, we can immobilize the molecule or antigen to the solid phase, formulate the isolated standard antibody, and carry out the assay optimization to generate an appropriate standard curve and complete the validation process.

Sandwich Immunoassays

Radiance provides you with proficiency ranging from selecting solid phases and antibodies to using colorimetric, chemiluminescent, or fluorescent detection formats

Custom Sample Testing Services

Radiance scientists tested thousands of samples for patient care and research. If you need testing, we will run your samples under a controlled environment.
